how to change mm/dd/yyyy to dd/mm/yyyy

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Code:
Dim StrDt As String
StrDt = InputBox("Input the mm/dd/yyyy date to convert", , "mm/dd/yyyy")
MsgBox StrDt & " to " & Format(Split(StrDt, "/")(1), "00") & "/" & Format(Split(StrDt, "/")(0), "00") & "/" & Format(Split(StrDt, "/")(2), "0000")

If you just want to change the cell format, use something like:
Code:
Columns("A:A").NumberFormat = "dd/mm/yyyy"
Note your entries have to be date entries and not text entries in order for this to work!
