This just started after long time use:

When I click on the Format dropdown and select Cells, the menu appears half-off the top of the screen.

When I select a cell and right click on it, then select Format Cells, the menu appears correctly.

I have restarted, rebooted, checked everything I know, and am clueless. Any suggestions please?

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
I hope someone can help me on this. It is a real problem that has become a BIG problem. If I click on Menu items Format/Cells or Data/Text to Columns the resulting menu is halfway off the top of my screen and I cannot grab it to move it.

I am using Excel 2010 for Mac but I cannot tell you the exact Rev because it is off the top of the screen. I am on a MacBook Air, OS X 10.10.5.

I do not think it is a 'local' issue, but nothing is ruled out. I have rebuilt, rebooted, all that stuff, and I have no similar problem elsewhere.

Very puzzled and looking forward to your ideas,
Rick
