I'm trying to do an RFM analysis. I was given a Customer Database with multiple transactions per customer during a year's period. How do I sort through and find each customers most recent purchase, without sorting by Customer ID and then picking each one out from multiple transactions 220 different times...
I also need to figure out how to find monetary. In a separate spread sheet, shows the inventory Item and how much it is. In the other database that I mentioned above, shows how many of each item was purchased, when it was purchased, etc....
What are the short cuts and easy ways to go about doing this? I've already logged 5 hours trying to figure it out.
I'm not familiar with excel whatsoever so step by step instruction would be very helpful to me!
