I am looking for people with different versions of Excel 2013/Office 2013 to test if they can interact with a Power Pivot Workbook that was created in the full Excel 2013 Power Pivot client.

Here is a link to an Excel 2013 Power Pivot Workbook https://www.dropbox.com/sh/b4mug9j96xp0j7e/AABo0fXptDaQT2ifBbBggYyfa?dl=0

Please open it and then click on the slicer. Does the pivot table update?

Please post back your experience.

I know Office Professional Plus will work.
I am 99.9% sure Office Professional will work.
I believe Home and Student edition will not work, but I want to test that
Any other versions out there I don't know of, please test and let me know.

Thanks for your help.

Matt

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
Really? Not 1 person who has been helped at this forum is willing to open this workbook, click on the slicer and report back? Like 2 minutes of your life, right?

Hi Matt,
it took some time to understand which file to download, that is "Power Pivot Test.xlsx". :)
Anyway, I have Excel 2010, so the "inizialitazion of the data source failed", as you already know. :(

Hi Matt,
Tested it and it worked. Didn't know what version I had.
Turned out to be the Professional Plus, so you might add some 0.1% to the 99% figure. ;)
