Cell Value (content) equals another cell's value/content when a 3rd cell =X

This should be simple but I'm brain dead today.

I want E5 to equal/match/duplicate what is in A5 if C5 contains an X.

 +IF(C5="X",A5,"")

Give this a go in cell E5...

=IF(C5="X",A5,"")
