Need Help Database

Not sure where to start on the help I am looking for but here goes.

I have a workbook with about 50 worksheets. This is for a budget that I manage. In each worksheet across the top is each month and down the first column is vendors. Each month we input the amount for a difference invoice for that vendor so in any month a vendor may have multiple amounts for that month. I would like to create a database but not sure if this is possible.

Sometimes we will need to know how much a vendor has been charged for a year or quarter and I would like to find an easier way to do this.

Let me know if you have any input or if you need to see anything.

Thanks

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
Hi sajohnson,

the basics for a database is a "good" table... So with your data: I assume there is a good reason for putting your data in 50 different sheets?
Let me take a stab in the dark for a table structure:
Group (or what you have in your sheet name) - Vendor (name or number?) - invoice number - invoice amount - date - month

With all the data in a table, you can use pivot tables and formulas like SUMIF and COUNTIF to get the right numbers from that table.

I hope that helps a bit?
