Hi All

Been a long while since I was last here!

I am using Excel 2016, and seem to have an issue with sorting.

I have a workbook with 56300 rows, including heading and I am trying to sort on column C. When I do the sort it does give me the Sort Warning, so I select the "sort anything that looks like a number, as a number" - infact I've tried both option.

I then checked the sort and done the End+Down Arrow which should take you to the last cell that contains data.... when I check I can see that there are 3957 cells that are blank, in the middle of the data, with values either side.

I have used the trim(), clean() functions, there is no data in these cells?

Can anyone offer an advise?

Kind regards

Peter

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
This may be a long shot but did you check the len() of those cells?

Hi There

Thanks. When using len() is shows 0 on the blank cells, and correct values for the cells with a value.

Certainly stumped me!

Kind Regards

Peter
