replacing a zero result with a blank

here is the formula:
=SUMIF(Jan!$A$23:$A$100,"=4",Jan!M$23:$M$100)

here is the question:
if the condition is not met, then a zero is placed in the cell, how can I replace this with a blank

PS have tried
=IF(SUMIF(Jan!$A$23:$A$100,"=3",Jan!$M$23:$M$100),"")

but FALSE is returned instead.
