Hello all,

Hoping you can help.

I have created charts in excel before with 95% confidence intervals. What i cannot seem to work out though is how to create a horizontal chart with the confidence intervals/error bars.

This link might not work when you click on it, but copying it and pasting it seems to do the trick. https://www.dropbox.com/home?preview=Capture.JPG

Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
I can't download your file but have you seen these resources? Jon Peltier is the chart guru if there ever was one.

Custom Error Bars in Excel Charts - Peltier Tech Blog

I've never done it, but can't you create a vertical chart with error bars and then change chart type? Or is that merely wishful thinking??

best wishes!!

You need to right click on the file in Dropbox, click on Share, then click on Create a Link. Copy and paste this link into your post.
