generation of invoice number

Hey Guys

i have an invoice template that i have created and i would like the invoice number to be auto generated every time i save the file.

Any ideas on how to create this?

Would it be possible to change the "inv" number of the original copy and save it like that, ".xltm" with the original template name and in the original placeeg: desktop. as i have a number of other macros running in mine, and would also like to have the number auto gen as the above.
