Hi, welcome to the forum
I have a feeling your sample is way too simple compared to what you have?
Based on what you showed, why not just...
=F3*G3*2
?
also, you don't need to use SUM when multiplying 2 numbers together...
="abc "&F3*G3

Hello, trying to add formulas with text
Cell1 ="abc "&(SUM(F3*G3))
Cell2 ="abc "&(SUM(F3*G3))
I want to add a formula here that will be able to extract the product from cell 1 and 2 and add them together.
Is this possible???

=A3&" "&F3*G3

Ok guys. I am rephrasing this example. Sorry i was not more clear.
Cell1 ="Cat "&(SUM(B3*G3))
Cell2 ="Dog "&(SUM(H4*G4))
I want to add a formula in another cell that will be able to extract the product from cell 1 and 2 and add them together.
1st post...
2nd postCell1 ="abc "&(SUM(F3*G3))
Cell2 ="abc "&(SUM(F3*G3))
I want to add a formula here that will be able to extract the product from cell 1 and 2 and add them together.

All you did was change abc to cat and dog, still does not explain what you are trying to do. You need to provide realistic sample data, as well as what your expected outcome would be.Cell1 ="Cat "&(SUM(B3*G3))
Cell2 ="Dog "&(SUM(H4*G4))
I want to add a formula in another cell that will be able to extract the product from cell 1 and 2 and add them together.
Remember, what you are doing is obvious to you, but we have no clue what you are doing
