I need to copy a rather large range from one workbook (or worksheet) to another. I used to use a standard copy/paste but it would generate a "large amount to clipboard..." message that was unnecessary and annoying. Did some research and found the following:
Code:
rngTarget.Resize(rngSource.Rows.Count, rngSource.Columns.Count).Value = rngSource.Value
Problem is that this is running kinda slow. Wondering if there's a faster way...???

Thanks!

Last used cell?

Have you turned off calculations, screen updating and events?

yes, yes, and no. How do I do the latter?
Application.EnableEvents = False

Will help only if you have event macros in an open workbook that may be triggered by your data transfer. If you do use it, don't forget to add Application.EnableEvents = True at the end of your macro.

Well, it seems i did NOT have calculations off (I do everywhere else as a standard technique)...much faster now.
