Hey Guys,

I've been working on a schedule / calendar.

I did some reading on integration with iCal and Google calendar.

Unfortunately everything I've come across is beyond my skillset and probably a few steps ahead of where I'm currently at.

Anyone have any input or resources as to a good starting point?

Thanks.

Wobzy,
I helped my daughter with a Google Calendar schedule update using Excel a few years ago.
It involved creating a list in Excel with the headings:

Subject_ Start Date_ Start Time_End Time_End Date

Then saving that list in a CSV (comma separated values) format in Excel. It turns out that you can import that CSV file directly into the specific Google Calendar or Calendars that you choose. You just need to write down/save the complete filepath and filename of the CSV file so you can enter it in the window that opens in Google Calendar when you select 'Other Calendars>Import Calendar'. There is a note on that window:

"Choose the file that contains your events. Google Calendar can import event information in iCal or CSV (MS Outlook) format. LEARN MORE"

Just enter the complete path and filename you saved/jotted down, then hit 'IMPORT'....that's it.

The following Google note is very important:

" Choose the calendar where these events should be saved."

If you don't deselect some calendars the events will be entered into ALL of your Google calendars...so just be aware.

This method saves a lot of time over manually entering each event separately into Google Calendar.
I hope this information is helpful.
