Hi,

Is there a way to estimate the memory consumption of an Excel spreadsheet?

To be precise, I have a spreadsheet. Its main worksheet contains 30 columns of quite complex formulas. I want to fill it down "as far as it goes", but without exceeding the available RAM.

So what I need is a method to estimate how the number of rows with those formulas relates to the amount of necessary memory. I imagine that I create, say, 10000 rows and see how much space they neeed, and then calculate the maximal number of rows I can afford on my machine.

Best regards,

J.Ty.
