Hi
I’m trying to use conditioning in excel as following
If the values in column (cost price) is <$49.99 then write down $4.99 as shipping price
If the values in column (cost price) is >$49.99, then write down $0.00 as shipping price
Applies the rule to the other rows
Thank you

Excel Facts

Back into an answer in Excel
Use Data, What-If Analysis, Goal Seek to find the correct input cell value to reach a desired result
=IF ( Cost Price cell ) < 49.99, 4.99 , 0 )
But that will do zero for 49.99 - you did not say if you wanted 0 or 4.99 for an item costing exactly 49.99
just add an = if you want 49.99 to cost 4.99 delivery
=IF ( Cost Price cell ) < = 49.99, 4.99 , 0 )
or
=IF ( Cost Price cell ) < 50, 4.99 , 0 )

Your snapshot does not show the column labels. The formula below assumes the "cost price is in column A. Enter the formula below in column B.
=if(A2<=49.99,4.99,0)
