Newbie query: How to get Salesforce data into Excel? I have only a link to the SF report...

I'm sorry. I have a link to a Salesforce report which I need to copy or import data from and ideally to use/paste into Excel, or something accessible.

If anyone has any tips, I'd be very grateful -- thank you!

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.

Well .. EXCEL has a built-in conversion of TEXT TO COLUMNS on the DATA tab.

You could load your Sales report into EXCEL, then use the TEXT TO COLUMNS to break it down even further for a start.

Not sure what your permissions are, but generally you just use the dropdown arrow on the top right of the report (it may say Edit) and there are a series of actions you can take. "Export" should be one of those options and that will let you output to an Excel file.
