When I try to save as the Microsoft Excel 2010 worksheet in HTML format, it is not visible in Google Chrome but it is visible in Internet Explorer 11. I looked at the HTML source and it seems it must be visible but perhaps there is some tag which makes it difficult for Google Chrome to display.

I have one single spreadsheet which I have tried to both save as a single page web page (extension *.mht) as well as normal html webpage(*.htm).

Is there any other way to display the Microsoft Excel worksheet as a HTML page? The overall problem is that some of the users of this spreadsheet need to keep on referring to it throughout the day and they do not like to keep the Microsoft Excel open only for this purpose, as it keeps crashing. So I thought I will publish it in HTML format because the browser's anyway kept open throughout the day.

Thank you for any inputs

Hi Wormaji,
You could, if the file is not too big:
1. Install OneDrive in your PC
2. Copy the Excel file to the OneDrive directory
3. Share the file in OneDrive. in a PC right click and select "Share a OneDrive link"
4. Send the link to users
They will be seeing the file thru Office365
Cheers

Thank you. This resolved the issue. Good out of box thinking. I don't have subscription for office 365, but nevertheless it does help without subscription also
