My co-workers computer turned off due to a power outage and lost his file he was working on for hours and didn’t save. Is there an application code that can do create an if statement like

If Application has been open for 20 minutes, msgbox “Save!!”

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
You can use these in a standard module.

Code:
Sub XALL()
Application.OnTime Now() + TimeValue("0:20:00"), "SAVEPROMPT"
End Sub

Sub SAVEPROMPT()
MsgBox "SAVE!"
XALL
End Sub

Then in the workbook code add this.

Code:
Private Sub Workbook_Open()
XALL
End Sub
