Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
Welcome to the Board!

I'd start by playing with the macro recorder performing tasks with which you're familiar, then read the code and you'll start getting an idea of what it's doing.

Feel free to post what you come up with and someone can explain it and help you clean it up, as recorded code isn't always the most efficient, but it's a great place to start.
