Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.

I'm having a lot of problems with Windows 8 and Excel 2013

I think some of these issues are going to be addressed in the 8.1 release...making the desktop feel more like a desktop. Personally, I'd hold off on any 3rd party add-ins until after the update. Wish I had a better link, but here's something Windows 8.1 Preview Now Available - IGN

I wish I had good things to say about Windows 8 and Excel 2013, but I don't.
