Hi,

I'd like to begin to broaden my programming capacity to include different languages. I have experience in VBA and feel confident in many aspects of programming in this language with the VBE in Excel. My focus will be in quantitative applications. What would the community here recommend studying given familiarity with vba and a future intention to write quantitative type applications? Also, any feedback on developer environments would be of interest too.
