Hi,

I have some columns in excel which I want to copy in my "Salary.dbf" file through MS access. it's just a copy paste function.

During Copy past I notice if I have data more than 3000 rows then some column (mostly text numeric data) in particular column of dbase file not able to paste (it gets half data only copied or sometimes full blank column shows)

Any solution for this ????

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
You can link to or import dbase data. Access ribbon > Get External Data > Import tab > More
Then use the right query for the job - append or update - to your main table, depending on what you're doing.
Or just use the imported data as a table in your db as you would for other tables.
