Hi

I am not very familiar with the forms in Access... however it will save me someone else time rather than manually data entering all the forms.

I have 2 fields that I would like populated by a table I have imported; File number and date received.
I have created the form and linked the table within the Data tab as well as the control source.
When I open the form how do I get the form to replicate for each of the file numbers from the table with the corresponding date received to allow for further data entry in Access?

Thank you!

Welcome to the Board!

The easiest way to do this is to do the following:
1. Create a table with all the fields that you want.
2. Create the Form FROM the Table. Then you just click and drag the fields you want to the Form, and they will automatically be bound to the Table. You can add any unbound fields that you want too.

You are welcome!

You can link up the fields after-the-fact, but it is much more cumbersome to do it that way.
