I want to lookup a "Grade" (unique number) based off of a text box input on a form. If the Rank in the form is equal to the Rank in the table, then show the corresponding Grade from said table.

Code:
=DLookUp([tblGrades]![Grade],[tblGrades],[tblGrades]![Rank]=[txtRank])

The above doesn't work. Need help please.

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
The arguments for Dlookup should be passed as strings - try:

Code:
=DLookUp("Grade","tblGrades","Rank = '" [txtRank] & "'")

or possibly:
=DLookUp([tblGrades]![Grade],"tblGrades","Rank=" & "'" & [txtRank] & "'")

or if Rank is numeric then:
=DLookUp([tblGrades]![Grade],"tblGrades","Rank= " & [txtRank])

Thank you for the help. Had to modify it slightly, but this seems to work;

Code:
=DLookUp("Grade","tblGrades","Rank =" & "'" & [txtRank] & "'")

Just noticed I missed a & out
Code:
=DLookUp("Grade","tblGrades","Rank = '"[COLOR=#FF0000] &[/COLOR] [txtRank] & "'")

Glad you got it to work!

Anyway glad it works.
