MS Access and SharePoint Online

Hi

I've heard that MS will stop supporting 'Access Services' in SharePoint Online but I'm not quite sure what that means. Currently I have several desktop databases linked to lists within SharePoint Online and they work quite well. Does this mean the ability to use a SharePoint list like a linked table is going away? Or does 'Access Services' refer to something else?

Thanks for any info!

You peaked my interest with this post and hopefully I can provide a possible insight. It too use MS Access that is linked into SharePoint 2016 to run several reports throughout the day. I did find a link on the Microsoft website that touches slightly on the issue. The link is https://support.office.com/en-us/ar...-roadmap-497fd86b-e982-43c4-8318-81e6d3e711e8. I was reading and did find that you can continue to use the desktop version of MS Access that is locally installed on your PC/Laptop. This retirement only applies to the web version of MS Access. Hopefully this helps.
