I have a filed on form that is formatted as currency with a default of zero "0". When the user enters the field to enter an amount, the cursor appears in front of the defaulted value of 0. So when they start entering a value - less say "17" it shows as $170 not $17. When they hit enter it enters $170.00

How do I fix this?

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Re: Access: Key behavior in Feild - Cursor

How about removing the default value, so then nothing appears initially?

Try Googling for SelStart and SelLength

this is an Access option in Client Settings (behavior entering field) as long as you're ok with it applying to all fields
