Default Show Your Table/Query Data on this Forum

A while back I got frustrated that there was not a good way to display table data from Access on this forum. I always liked Colo's HTML Add-In for Excel, so I set out to make my own for Access. So now almost 7 months later, I think it's finished. I will post below some samples of what you can create with my add-in and I hope that some of you might be interested in installing it for yourselves and sharing your feedback with me.

the add-in can be downloaded from my web site

    Thanks!
    Giacomo

This is what I call the extended view, it is meant to simulate the layout in MS Access. If you click on or hover over the table name it will display some of the table meta data such as record count and description. Hovering or clicking on the field names will give you data type, indexes, and description.

I added record selectors for fun, although they don't display in firefox. I've only tested this on IE and FireFox.

This is my Lite view, it's meant to be more compact. I also have a sample data option so that posters can obscure thier data if they feel it is sensitive.

    giacomo

    Nice add-in.

I've only just downloaded it but it looks pretty impressive.

One thing I really appreciate is that you've not locked the code.

That gives others, including myself , a chance to study and perhaps offer some suggestions for improvements/alterations, though I doubt much improvement is needed.

    No problem.

I've not really got time at the moment to fully analyze the code.

But when I do, I'll post back, but from what I've seen so far it doesn't seem to need any improvement.

And I've never create and add-in before either,so I'll need to look in to that as well.

I think I created something a while ago to reformat/restructure a HTML file created using Excel so it posted better on the board.

I just used it for personal use as for some reason I couldn't use Colo's HTMLMaker.

Anyways, I lost it and 100 of other files when my computer died.
If posting code please use code tags.
