Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
Can you just use a formula in the column?

Month: Month(Date)
Year: Year(Date)

Its been a while since I have used access, but I believe that is possible.

You can use the Format function in a calculated field, i.e.

Code:
MyMonthDate: FORMAT([DateField],"mmyyyy")
