"Type mismatch in expression" Error

I am new to Access. I have two tables and tried to do a simple query, nothing fancy. I just picked a couple of table titles from two tables, connected them with a primary key and got this error when I tried to run it. Any guidance is appreciated.

I am trying to tech myself with a dummies book - that does seem to have anyhting on this error.

What data type are the fields you joined?

Are there any expressions in the query?

EDIT: I see Norie responded while I was typing.

My data type was different. Number / Text. I thought I checked that before I submitted the questions.

Thanks for the help. Once i changed them both to Number, it worked.
