I'm trying to alter PowerPoint presentation footers from an Access Application, I keep getting a 'HeaderFooter (unknown member): Invalid request' error. Perhaps I have the wrong Reference? This is my code, any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Dim strPowerPointFile As String
Dim pptobj As PowerPoint.Application
Dim sMetricDate
Set pptobj = New PowerPoint.Application
pptobj.Visible = True
pptobj.WindowState = ppWindowMinimized

strPowerPointFile = "[Location of File]"
sMetricDate = Format(Now(), "mmmm-yyyy")

With pptobj.Presentations.Open(strPowerPointFile)

pptobj.ActivePresentation.SlideMaster.HeadersFooters.Footer.Visible = msoTrue
pptobj.ActivePresentation.SlideMaster.HeadersFooters.Footer.Text = sMetricDate

.Save
.Close
End With
