Simple Relationships Question

This is probably the dumbest question ever however, after 2 days of searching via the web, I haven't found an answer and I'm probably just doing this wrong. When creating a relationship in my database, if I double click it to view the details, it says its a one to many relationship.

The problem is, the line that connects the two tables does not have a 1 and ∞ sign on it. It's just a plain black line. Is this a setting or something? Am I doing something wrong?

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
Michael,

Thank you for the link. I actually found out what I was doing wrong. It was different data types (text/autonumber). I don't know how I missed something that trivial but I guess it couldn't have been that trivial to me to begin with. Once I made the data types the same, the relationship updated properly.

Thank you again for the link and for pointing out that this is an Excel forum. I already know this, which is why I ask my Excel questions in the Excel portion of these forums. If Access related content does not belong in Questions -> Microsoft Access, would you be so kind as to help me to understand what kind of questions do in fact belong here?

My apologies, there must have been a problem with the thread as I read it in EXcel questions...
Maybe I shouldn't have had that extra beer after golf....or maybe should have had one more ...!!!
