I have an SQL report that I download each week that shows the details of each invoice that week contained some type of error. That could range from we had to send a substitute product in place of the one that was ordered to a driver that didn't load a pallet on a truck and did not make the delivery because of that. It breaks down the reason for the error into very specific categories, and after reading and working through Magic Tricks for Data Wizards I'm wondering whether it would be easier to make a dashboard using 10 or so different queries or to take one query and make about 10 pivot tables based on the data model of the worksheet.
Currently I'm having to refresh the query and pivot tables then copy and paste - values over tables in my dashboard manually. Would this be easier/faster to use multiple queries instead of pivots? My thoughts are more queries = bigger files = slower computations, but I'm still just learning about how I can utilize Power Queries, create templates and share them across divisions of my company that they can run for themselves.
I'm struggling to make something that works between about 30 different divisions, with each using their own Network drives.
