Hi,
I want to update a sales volume list on a monthly basis. I used to have a linked table but the dashboard was getting quite heavy. I rebuilt it using a pasted table. But I am having a problem with append paste.

The product numbers are up to 10 digits. The first 4 digits are a prefix, and the next 2 sets of 3 are the dimensions. So I have a product number of 42163 8. (2 blanks between the 3 and 8) When I copy and paste append PowerPivot changes it to 42163 8. (Only one blank between the 3 and 8.)

Can I override the "correction"?

(I can't add the "wrong" product numbers since I have a top 10 list and the sales force would just copy the "wrong" number and not find the "right" product. Trust me.

Really grateful for any help or tips.
