Hi there,

Looking for some help with Power Query.

Goal:
Import data from 2 text file in to 2 tables in Excel.

Source:
We export data in a comma separated text file from our software. This happens 2 times, so result is 2 text files.
These files are saved on the harddrive (location can vary) from an employee.

Steps:
The employee receives an template from our company. This template file has 2 buttons.
Button 1) Import text file one. Employee selects/browses to text file one. Name can vary from time to time. Data gets into table SourceOne.
Button 2) Import text file two. Employee selects/browses to text file two. Name can vary from time to time. Data gets into table SourceTwo.

So multiple employees have the template Excel file with the PQ querys in it.
The text files name vary from time to time.
Is this possible with PQ?

I can import multiple text files at once. But that is not what I want.

Update:
Just found the button Settings for the source in the Query Editor.
Can I make this more user friendly?
Preferably keeps users out of PQ.

Small Macro to select the text file and then execute a certain query?
