Hi all

I am new to powerpivot. I tried searching the forum and in google for an answer to my question but I couldn't get an answer.

I am hoping an expert in this forum can help me.

So I have an existing data that I pull using SQL and then created multiple Pivot tables from this SQL data in normal excel.

Of late the file have been really slow to open, refresh and input. Upon searching in google it is recommended that I use Powerpivot for better data management and efficiency.

I have manage to create the SQL data in Powerpivot and created a powerpivot file. What I want to do now is copy the existing pivot table from the original excel file into the Powerpivot file and then change the data source for these pivots to pull from Powerpivot data. I tried exploring to do this myself but I couldn't find the solution.

Is there a way I can change these normal Pivot Tables to source the data from PowerPivot file? Or do I need to recreate all these pivot tables from scratch in the Powerpivot file?

Appreciate any advice I can get from anyone here.

Thank you...
