Hi all
I am learning to use power pivot to gather data in from analyses services server. Now issue is, based on the date, there can be lots of data. I only need say one month or week worth daily, and now and then 6 months or so.
I can limit date data that is imported to pp, when creating power pivot query, but cannot do this dynamically. There is a box that can be ticked, but only creates error.

Am I missing something, even just modifying text for power pivot query?
It would be really nice not to have to modify each query sheet every little while. In particular as I have several clones, which are only slightly different. It gets quite confusing. Getting more data is a problem, as I am learning and modifying quite often, and refreshing 5 minutes each time a change is made is not an option.

Thanks
