Hi there,

Is it possible to create one pivot table from 2 different sets of data?
I have some 1,500 customers (each on different pricing levels) and around 90 products. Ultimately I would like to be able to generate pricelists for each customer group (or by distributor) using the 'show report filter pages....' option under pivot table options.

Hope that makes some kind of sense! I can send a dummy file that may help explain better (cant find how to attach it!!!)

Hopefully there's a guru out there that can help! Many thanks.

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
Should be pretty easy as long as there is one field that can used to create a realtionship between the customers and the products.

Sent me a dummy file by email and I'll have a look

Hi Sue. sorry delay been head down on my end of month. Just looking at the dummy file I'm not quite sure what it represents. Few questions:

1. Do you want to set differrent prices for Product A,B,C etc depending on the customer?
2. Is a pricing level used by several customers or prices set indiviually for each customer e.g. price Band A = $10 for XX1, $20 for XX2 and 15 customers are on this price?
3. Is Data Table A the output you have to work with or could you change the format?
4. Does each customer only have 1 distributor?
5. What is the relevance of the start and end date? Mike
