Is there a way to add comments to calculated fields and measures. I can add a description but that's for end users. I noticed that if I put a measure in and miss the := it become italicized free text, but the position is not guaranteed if I deploy to a server and download elsewhere. I'd really like to put the comment in the code, but don't see a DAX comment syntax.

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
Thanks Miguel. That's a good article. Its unfortunate that DAX measure don't support comments. The workaround here is to use descriptions. We are actually using Power View which does expose the description, but I need to keep the descriptions focused on end user instructions rather than how the code works.
