Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum, well actually i always use it for information but have never registered. I've just started using Powerpivot and this will be a simple question but it is really bugging me.

Is there a way to pin the field list to the sheet? Every time i perform any action it disappears. Even dragging a field into say 'row labels' or 'values' column the field list then disappears. It is only a small inconvenience but quite annoying when i'm trying to do things quickly i have to keep going back and clicking in the table after every action.

Any help is much appreciated.

Cheers,
Noel

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
Also i'm using excel 2010 if that helps. I thought it would be a simple answer with a setting somewhere but there doesn't seem to be anywhere on the web that can help
