PowerPivot 2016 updating, but not connected Pivot table

I have made a PowerPivot 2016 connection to Microsoft Analysis Services yesterday. Yesterday is 2015-12-09 (dec. 9th 2015). The connection has then been used in a Pivot table. Everything worked fine.

Today when I update the Excel 2016 sheet, there is no extra data from yesterday.

Then I go to PowerPivot and update the data here. An extra days data is then displayed in the bottom.

Then I leave PowerPivot and go back to Excel. Still no data from yesterday. I update the Excel Pivot table - still no data from yesterday...

Then I go to the PowerPivot Tab in Excel 2016, and click on "Update all" and get an error message (my translation to English: "Command can no be completed. No tables are found in this active Excel workbook, which are connected to PowerPivot tabels".

How do I fix this?

Thanks in advance!

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
I guess you image is not properly pasted and nobody can see it.
To clarify. The latest data in both Power Pivot and Excel pivot table are not available?
So you will probably lost connection to data:
- First check "Existing Connections". If any failed try to recreate
- Check if you did not modify Columns Headers in PP model.

I found the "error". There are a number of operations you simply should not do:

- Change the table name in Power Pivot
- Rename an imported column in Power Pivot
- Delete an imported column in Power Pivot

It was the last one (deleting a column) which corruped the file. See the book "M is for (DATA) Monkey".
