Hello -

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this in Excel 2016: PowerQuery doesn't list tables or worksheets that are hidden. I don't recall this happening in Excel 2013/PQ.

Thoughts/Workarounds?

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
can you create from them before they are hidden ?

Well, of course - but what this means is that every data worksheet that I created BEFORE Excel 2016, I have to go in and unhide (if, of course, they were hidden). I was merely asking if anyone else had experienced this and if it had caused any issues. I apologize if that was unclear in my original post.

Also, it seems when you make the connection and then hide the worksheet, you receive an error:

"We couldn't get data from the Data Model. Here's the error message we got:
XML parsing failed at line 27, column 13: Incorrect document syntax"

Now, that could be due to the specific way my connections are set up, but I know that I do not receive this error when the worksheet is not hidden.
