Monthly lookups from Business Objects reports

I'm new to Excel vlookup functions so bare with me.

I have Business Object reports that will update monthly and will change monthly as the activity in the accounts will be different every month.

I have other summary worksheets that need to pull the data from the business objects reports but I can't use a static formula/cell reference because, obviously, the BO report will be different each month. Is there a way to write a lookup formula that can look for account numbers in the business objects report and return either the sum value of the account? I would also like to be able to find multiple accounts and sum those into one cell. I'd like the summary worksheets to refresh each month without having to manually enter the data.

Thanks in advance.

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
I'm new to this forum too but I would suggest starting with Vlookup..... It depends on how your data is arranged so if you can't get Vlookup to work you might try adding some sort data example to your post... VLookup and/or a monthly pivot table with a slicer could do the trick if things get messy but you'ld still need to click a button on the slicer unless you can figure out how to incorporate the MONTH function to match the current month I think... There are also some good You Tube videos on developing dashboards that use pivot tables and slicers.

Good Luck!
