Hi all,
I'm trying to update to the latest version of Power Query which I downloaded from MS. I have Excel 2013, 32 bit and get this installation error -

"The older version of Microsoft Power Query for Excel cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group."

It seems the installer cannot find my previous version of the installation package for Power Query_2.26.4128.242 (32-bit) [en-us].msi which I no longer have, nor can I find anywhere on the web.

I've tried to remove Power Query from the COM add-ins, which didn't solve my problem and wasn't very smart because now I don't even have the previous installation! Any ideas would be welcomed!

Thank you,
Michael

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Have you tried looking in programs in control panel? Uninstalling in com Addins would not in-install I don't think.
