    I don't know if i've understood correctly the request, but i can propose this:

    My table:

    aaa
    Header
    1 Line1
    2 Line2
    3 Line3

    In power query:

    Code:
    let
        Source = Excel.CurrentWorkbook(){[Name="Table1"]}[Content],
        Transformation = Table.AddColumn(Source, "ToRows", each Table.PromoteHeaders(Table.FromList(Text.Split([aaa],("#(lf)")))))
    in
        Transformation
    At the end:

    aaa ToRows
    Header
    1 Line1
    2 Line2
    3 Line3
    Table

    ToRows column contains:

    Header
    1 Line1
    2 Line2
    3 Line3

    My proposal:

    Code:
    let
        Source = Excel.CurrentWorkbook(){[Name="MultipleLineTable"]}[Content],
        MultipleLineTable = Table.TransformColumnTypes(Source,{{"Column with lines", type text}, {"Other column1", type text}, {"Other column2", type text}}),
        LinesFromText = Table.TransformColumns(MultipleLineTable,{{"Column with lines", Lines.FromText, type text}}),
        Expanded = Table.ExpandListColumn(LinesFromText, "Column with lines")
    in
        Expanded
    Specializing in Power Query (M).
    Using Excel 2007 (Dutch) and Excel 2016 (Office 365 ProPlus) (Dutch/English), both on Windows 10.
    Array formulas can be recognised by the {} Excel puts around it automatically when you press Ctrl+Shift+Enter upon formula entry.
