Cosmetic Questions to PowerPivot Table

Hello everyone, again-

I'm using a Power Pivot table to create this report. I don't THINK it matters in regard to my questions below, but I wanted to make sure that I was clear in the kind of pivot table I'm using (Excel 2013). If you'd like me to move it and post it in the Excel Forum, I'll do that, too.

(I have forgotten this) - How can I get the formatting for my column headers to stick? I have nothing filtered and I have the check box filled in "preserve cell formatting on update" in the pivot table's options. I have done this before at my previous job, but I have since forgotten how to keep them from changing every time I refresh the data. I just want to center the column labels and slightly alter the font and size.

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Sorry, it now became obvious:

Adjust the formatting BEFORE you change the "Display" in the PivotTable Options like "Show expand/collapse buttons" or "Display field captions and filter drop downs"

Consequently, if you want to make changes to them, check those two boxes, make the changes, then uncheck them.

At least, this is what I found I needed to do to get them to stick.

Sorry for the repeat.
