Here's what I want to do. I have two tables. One has Date, account name, account number, and shipment cases. my other table has date, account name, account number, and consumption cases. I want to have a table that has the date, name, number and then the consumption from one and shipment from the other. I normally would build this in regular excel and source to new columns to join and then pivot. But thats a pain every time I update data and have to re-source. Can't I just create the relationships in powerpivot then just do a master pivot file or a joined table? When I try to create relationships I might get all the consumption cases correct, but then the shipment is all the same number. I think there must be something with a unique key? I'm just not familiar with that or traditional access/database verbiage. Thanks.
