    But if there is anything in AA2 apart from LARGE, it will say "meter OK"
    So maybe another condition is required for AA2 ??

    I think we're getting a little confused...
    The code I provided answers the initial question of clearing the contents of the row IF it is the only row available !!
    OR deleting an entire row if not....

    You only want to clear a range of cells...is that correct.
