    Re: Importing Excel Range data to Word doc

    Provided the first argument is kept 'False' , either of the second two of the .PasteExcelTable arguments will allow you to edit the content in Word - as will .PasteSpecial DataType:=wdPasteOLEObject.

    Re: Mail Merge/ VBA

    How it's done with a mailmerge depends entirely on how your workbook is configured. Numerous approaches are possible.

    For example, you can use Word's Catalogue/Directory Mailmerge facility (the...
  8. Re: Passing variables from Child (Word) to Parent (Excel)

    Which is what the code in post # 13 should do. To make it stand out more though, the username & time are not output - but it's easy to add that back in if you want.

    Re: Importing Excel Range data to Word doc

    You might try varying your PasteExcelTable arguments. Otherwise, you might try:
    myDoc.Range.PasteSpecial DataType:=wdPasteOLEObject
    to insert the actual worksheet, or:
    myDoc.Range.PasteAndFormat...

  12. Re: Passing variables from Child (Word) to Parent (Excel)

    It's pretty much just a case of moving your existing Word code into Excel. For example:

  13. Re: Passing variables from Child (Word) to Parent (Excel)

    The 'If Dir(MMOut) <> "" Then' test should find the file if it exists and display the message box. Maybe the message box is being hidden behind the Excel window?

    Where in Excel would the answer go?
  14. Re: Passing variables from Child (Word) to Parent (Excel)

    Code corrected - see final few lines
  15. Re: Passing variables from Child (Word) to Parent (Excel)

    You don't need your FileExists variable. Try the following. Note that I've deleted numerous unused/redundant variables:

    Option Explicit

    Sub CreateSelfFundedContract()
    Dim wdApp As New...

    Re: VBA Editor not autocompleting

    Excel's Intellisense seems lame by comparison with Word in this area, where Intellisense works quite happily even for Selection.

    Re: Extract Word Form Field Data to Excel
