    Re: unable to open file

UDF is a User Defined Function - it's a Function written in code (macro), but used on a sheet.

I'd recommend you try opening up one of the failed attempt copies on your pc.

    Can you, on your...
  2. Re: VBA code to hide a range of cells based on cell value

Your code is fine and works (in a perfectly setup workbook). But, like Fluff pointed out - Excel makes EXACT comparisons. Even a space can throw of the comparison. Step through your code, when it...

Re: VBA Script for a Control - Send Email

    1. You get multiple email windows opened because .Display shows the windows. Use .Send to actually send them without the chance to review.
    2. You get an error in your modification because you're...

    Re: unable to open file

Opening workbooks directly from the email is not a good idea. Wouldn't cause this issue.. but it's a pet peeve of mine. Macros might not run right, but the workbook should open.
    Wouldn't disable...
  8. Re: VBA code to hide a range of cells based on cell value

The major issue is if your selection happens to be above row 11, you'll crash since you can't hide rows that don't exist (well, I guess you won't because you have the resume next, but that's not true...
  9. Re: Excel VBA Runtime '91' error during lookup in Internet Explorer

Error 91 is object not set. So, I'm guessing that the Doc object isn't getting set. Couldn't tell you why. But to get the code to run smoothly, you should verify the object is set before you try to...
  10. Re: Copying range of Excel cells into body of email via VBA

Body is a string and you're trying to place an array in it. Not compatible.
You need to get the html that creates the table you would get from a manual copy/paste. You do this by copying the range...

There may be a way to do it with some Query property - but I don't use them often, so I don't know.

So, after your first query, you can do ...

    Re: Multi-sheet Pivot Table

I just wish Consolidated tables option would just merge the data together into a single table, instead of that summary like setup.

    Re: Multi-sheet Pivot Table

If I understand you correctly, you'll need to change your tables so the Category column is the leftmost column on all the sheets, then recreate your pivot table.
