  1. Re: Unable to load .data file in excel using VBA

    So it's a text file?

If that's the case you probably need to use Workbooks.OpenText rather than Workbooks.Open.
  2. Re: Application-defined or object-defined error

Have you checked the contents of the original array?
  3. Re: Unable to load .data file in excel using VBA

Can you manually open a .data file from Excel?
  4. Re: Unable to load .data file in excel using VBA

    Can you post your code?
  5. Re: Application-defined or object-defined error

There is a limit to how much data you can transfer from an array to a sheet but if you go over that limit you wouldn't get the error you describe, you would end up with a bunch of #N/As on the...

Re: Exporting & Importing Macro with VBA

Why not create a workbook with all the required buttons/code etc. in it?

Then when you create the new workbook use that as a template and copy the data from the user selected file to it.
  9. Re: On Error, is skipping, but not posting next in correct row

Change the function so it doesn't use On Error Resume Next.

With the below, if a value you are looking for isn't found then 'N/A' will be entered in the array but the function will always return...

Instead of using Format Painter why not try adjusting the Applies to ranges when you goto Format>Conditional Formatting...?

Re: Removing vat from a cell automatically

Right, the code I posted will need to be added to that code.

For which range do you want to be able to remove the VAT from values when they are entered?

PS What is that existing code meant to...

    David

If you put this in a worksheet module any, numeric, value you enter in A1:A10 will have the VAT removed.

  20. Re: How to turn conditional formatting OFF when a target cell has a date in it.

Try changing the formulas to this:

Formula: =AND($D4=TODAY(), $K4="") Cell Fill is RED
    Formula: =D4
Formula: =AND(($D4-TODAY())<8, $K4="") Cell Fill is YELLOW

  21. Re: comboBox to display data in alphabetical order...

    Albert

What you should do is move the code to populate the combobox ufcbbname into the Initialize event of the userform.

If you do that then the code for sorting that's already may work.

    Re: ByRef argument type mismatch

You haven't declared the variables rng_column_loop and previous_Month, they need to be declared as Range and Long respectively.

    Dim rng_column_loop As Range
    Dim previous_Month As Long
  24. Re: comboBox to display data in alphabetical order...

    Albert

You can populate a combobox with data sorted alphabetically without sorting it on the sheet.

    Does this work?

    Dim wbSrc As Workbook
    Dim sPath As String
    Dim LR As Long
    Dim today As String
